4Walls is a Photographic Emotional Rollercoaster

Make it stand out

4Walls presents 4 stages of our life and focuses on showing the different emotions and feelings during the process. These are the four “stages”:

  1. Happy, exciting (party)

  2. Gloomy, melancholy (after the party)

  3. Burnt out, tired

  4. Empowerment , acceptance

This concept was inspired by the emotional roller coaster I experienced during the pandemic. I felt so many people, including myself, lost their confidence during this time because of isolation and inactivity.

Through my work, I hope to encourage people to not blame themselves for being sad and depressed because these are normal feelings. It's like when we're on the top of a mountain, the next step is climbing down to the ground again. If some people think they're too far away from the top and feeling tired and exhausted, I want to tell them that it's totally okay.

Not every flower blooms in spring. We all bloom at different times and grow at different paces. That doesn't change the fact how beautiful and strong we are.
