Plus in a Perfect Industry is a Middle Finger to the Fashion Industry

This is a big F**K YOU to the fashion industry that doesn’t accommodate for our bodies. 

Working in the fashion industry has surfaced my own body issues as well as my internalised fat phobia. Despite desperately wanting to uplift and normalise curve and plus bodies, it just seemed easier to work with sample size ones. 

When it became obvious that pulling pieces for my project would only be found in the high streets plus section, I decided we would focus on things that we’re guaranteed to fit us…
