Sigil Making For Creativity
___STEADY_PAYWALL___
STEP ONE:
Come up with a direct statement in the present tense. I’ll be using ‘I make good art’. ___STEADY_PAYWALL___
STEP TWO:
Cross out all the vowels and repeating words of this statement. This leaves me with the letters:
M G D R T
STEP THREE:
Make a grid to find which number corresponds with our letters. To do this, write the numbers 1 to 9 in a row, and underneath write out the alphabet.
STEP FOUR:
Find the corresponding numbers from your grid and note them down.
STEP 5:
Finally, randomly write the numbers 1 to 9 in a circle, and then connect your numbers. If you have two of the same numbers, just add a little dot.
You can write this sigil on the back of a canvas, on your notebook, or you can trace it over your hands with some oil before getting to work on a project
SIGIL SPELL CANDLE FOR CREATIVITY:
Now you have your sigil, it’s time to make the candle!
CANDLE COLOURS
Since this specific sigil is for creativity, I would go for a blue, green, or orange candle.
Blue: Peace, Creativity, Healing, Communication
Green: Success, Money, Luck, Growth
Orange: Success, Creativity, Confidence
ESSENTIAL OILS
I’m opting for Bergamot oil. Citrus-based oils are uplifting and prominent, a great fit with the intentions of gaining inspiration or creating something new. Other options could be Pine, Lime, Lemon, Lavender, and Cinnamon.
ANOINTING THE CANDLE:
Take your candle and carefully carve in your sigil. Take a drop of your oil and rub it onto the candle.
Usually, for intention setting, it’s common to rub the oil from the top to the middle and then bottom to middle. I usually rub the oil from the bottom to the top several times, envisioning my intentions going into the wick. Do whatever feels right for you.
And now you have your sigil spell candle for your creative endeavors. Use this candle before or during your creative practice, or during meditation.
